Unlike modern printing, linocut printing starts off by carving into a plate medium such as Wood, soft cut lino and the more classic hessian backed linoleum blocks.
Once carefully carved special ink is rolled evenly onto soluble papers or parchment.
In the printing process the ink transfers with many different results making every print uniquely your own.

The Shambles itself dates way back to the 1500s and i'm honored to be hosting my current stall!
