TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This website is operated by Jamie Robert Smith, trading as Cute Shiba, a sole trader based at 72 Oxford Road, Swindon, SN3 4HD. You can contact us at jamie@cuteshiba.com.
These terms apply when you buy from cuteshiba.com. By placing an order you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to place an order. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If we cannot fulfil your order, for example because an item has sold out, we will tell you and refund you in full.
Our products are handmade lino prints and small-batch goods. Slight variation in ink coverage, registration and paper is part of the process and is not a fault.
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Postage is shown before you pay and is added at checkout. Payment is taken at the time you order, through Stripe or PayPal. We do not store your card details.
If a price is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than supply at that price.
We post to addresses in the United Kingdom. We aim to dispatch within 5 working days unless stated otherwise on the product page. Delivery times after dispatch are outside our control.
Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you gave us.
Full details of how to return something, who pays the postage and how refunds are paid are set out in our Refunds and Returns policy at cuteshiba.com/refunds-and-returns
You may cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, email jamie@cuteshiba.com. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
We will refund the price of the goods plus our standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving the goods back. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we refund the standard rate only. You pay the cost of returning the goods.
Goods must be returned in a resaleable condition. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to check the item.
The 14 day cancellation right does not apply to goods that are made to your specification or clearly personalised, which includes commissioned work. You will be told this before you order a commission. This does not affect your rights if the goods are faulty or not as described.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have the right to reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days you may ask for a repair or replacement, and a refund if that is not possible.
We pay the cost of returning faulty goods. Email jamie@cuteshiba.com with your order number and a photograph of the problem.
All artwork, designs, photographs and text on this site belong to Cute Shiba. Buying a print gives you the physical item, not the right to reproduce, resell or licence the artwork.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the goods. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
If something has gone wrong, email jamie@cuteshiba.com and we will try to put it right. If we cannot resolve it, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme, and you always keep the right to take a claim to court.
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
